I feel the words needed more work but it was friday and "the deadline being the artist best friend" I let go of the perfectionist. Nice to see the message get through anyway.
I do hope we wake up from the nightmare and I do my best to try!
I can only have faith that those of us who survive what we're facing will continue to speak out against literalism and its favorite weapon of war: dogma.
Phew! There are several posts here. The Puritans are still running this country, for sure. They were a fear-of-death cult, terrified of their god, and of the genocide they were perpetrating on the indigenous people they first depended upon then sought to displace. They hanged witches in Hartford and then 40 years later in Salem. This is what we must wake from. They taught that wealth was a sign of their god’s favor. This post is fabulous, but it could be a series.
This is a scalpel disguised as a sermon. You named the sickness with clarity and care. When spirituality becomes branding and wealth becomes proof of worth, the soul doesn’t vanish—it goes underground and waits for something real.
As always Alek's, comments from are receive like wrapped in a special package. I deeply appreciate your support here.
I am changing the way I work here, with a different model the the all free original one and with live "deep dive " session on specific subject. Hope to see you there!
There is so much to respond to. This one article speaks to so many facits of this culture, to how those facits affect me personally, and probably most people who live in this country, and for generations. There is a lot to learn and learn into here. This one article could be an entire curriculum. As I process I can say more and as you continue to post more in this area I’ll collaborate anyway I can.
Yes there is so much to say here. It is the whole DNA of "Awakened Horizons", if we look from a different place we can make another story. It start with acknowledging the current story with honesty and realizing the the story implies the outcome and take power over the story. That is true free will.
But if you check the comments of Thomas M Gregg on my note about for Memorial day, you'll see we are far from out of the maze...
Another brilliant commentary Gabriel. I'm reading this as my old self, and my new self, and the former me would be so self-assured in my beliefs that I would ignore much of the criticism.
I literally woke up Gabriel, from a mind that was under the spell of a sacred text for thirty years. That changes you, I think even at the level of neurons.
I'm approaching this from the source, the literature that gives rise to so many of these fracturing ideas. This ancient wisdom literature can be appropriated, but not as a divine word.
Thank you Gustavo, and sorry for late reply. I have been so involved in finding my model here that I barely realized that people were starting to comment on posts (and not just notes).
I have caught up with you since and there is so much I have to share. Our conversation triggered a lot of changes... I'll be happy to share with you...
Thank you Gustavo, yes when we wake up and start seeing the story for what it is, the expression of our human immaturity, disconnection, arrogance etc it becomes even difficult to watch. Any scripture can be adapted by the Ego, here I mention Christianity but I could probably do the same with other scripture, being given a more direct experience. And you are right, changing to a new story is neuroplasticity.
Brilliantly written, Gabriel. And spot-on.
Thank you for the nice words Adrienne...

Indeed, my dear there is so much material in there I trust me I have shorten it quite a bit from it's original size...
psychology and shadow work is always a deep rabbit hole...

You are spot on. So articulate and succinct. This is a synopsis of the deep truth of what is wrong with this culture. How can I support?
Thank you for the nice words.
To support you can keep reading for once since you already are a great supporter of my work! 🙏

Then you get all the harm downstream.
Would love to hear what you are thinking now.
Talk soon.
