"F" is my new word, and I've just written an article. I never thought it could represent both Fear and Faith, as well as Freedom. On a human level, I’d say—happy you are all safe. Your experience is truly an invitation to transcend fear and reflect on life’s lessons. It takes courage to look fear in the eyes and have faith fight it. But as you mentioned when you talked about Kuan Yin, there is this deep lesson and wisdom.

Deep and clear, Gabriel. Seeing many of my friends lose everything has plunged me into a deep meditation about attachment. Your writing holds so many nuggets, I will have to come back to it time and time again. We confront different monsters, but the path remains the same. Thank you for sharing this with us. 💗

Thank you for your warm words. They go right to my heart! I have two dear friends who have lost their houses too. I did not send them this link. I have reached out directly offering a different kind of support. At time of great loss empathy comes first. Wisdom later. Infinite Love

Dear Sister, thank you for the nice words. Life’s a great teacher, not always pleasant. This morning I came up with a new tee shirt idea: “Perfection sucks!” 😂

I am glad you came through the fires. So many transformational nuggets and courage...Thank you for sharing with such depth and faith. My husband and I live in Napa. We went through the fires in 2017 and 2020. I remember in the first fire getting pillows, blankets, water and some food. My husband grabbed a bottle of scotch! ha ha. He stopped at a house where some young women were renting, and told them there was a fire-follow us to the trail beyond the road. We ended up watching further up our road, as the fire shot up high all along the distant hills, until it came much closer. We did not want the firemen to have to rescue us, so we left. I was fearful and also peaceful, as I did not know the outcome. 3 weeks later we returned to our home. It was still intact. Many of our dear friends lost their homes. We all supported one another with love and compassion. We are all close friends today in other homes in Napa.
