This one lands like a silent bell in the heart of the forest.

Gabriel's words aren't just poetic—they're a eulogy for the illusion of human superiority, and a reminder that Earth isn’t our kingdom, it’s our kin. We were handed the gift of empathy and managed to weaponize it into marketing psychology and clickbait algorithms.

Virgin Monk Boy would like to offer a gentle heretical amendment:

Humanity didn’t fall from grace—we tripped over a shopping cart in a Walmart parking lot and declared it enlightenment.

And yet… we can still return. Not as masters, but as guests who’ve finally learned to take off their muddy boots at the door.

Until then, the bees and trees pray for our absence.

But maybe—just maybe—if we shrink our egos faster than we grow our economies, the world might one day welcome us home instead of sighing in relief when we leave.

"we tripped over a shopping cart in a Walmart parking lot and declared it enlightenment" LOL, well said, the apotheosis of confusion.

I am writing another one today, probably even more potent... I felt it come in the morning yesterday, on the full moon in Libra (which is truth coming forth)...

I think about this a lot. We are nature, we are part of the great chain of being like any other species. I love how you point out that our role is empathy, compassion, being of service to life. We are capable of tremendous acts of selfless love that support life rather than exploit it. But, we have become so disconnected and live in such extreme imbalance with the rest of life. It costs us dearly, I believe it's at the foundation of most of the emotional and physical illness experienced by people in capitalist systems.

From a young age I've found our way of life bizarre and troubling, I know many of us see it this way, and yet the madness seems so powerful, so many seem to not notice it. I always wonder how and when it will change. I believe our planet has an intelligence beyond what we can comprehend, and that one way or another we will be stopped.

Yes indeed, from early age I have seen through this hypocrisy (I wanted to be a vet as a result).

Yes I believe (I know in fact) the world is perfect and there is a deeper intelligence beyond that will bring the whole back into balance, it may chose to eliminate us, like it would do of any other species that overwhelm its ecosystem.

Life will not stop, but species have been eliminated before. I think the pain is here to wake us up. The choice is in hour hands.

Paul Watson — co-founder of Greenpeace and founder of Sea Shepherd — said it plainly:

“We are killing our planet. We are a species out of control—a primate that believes it is the center of the universe and the pinnacle of creation.”
