✨ Introduction: The 5 Bodies — An Ancient Map for Modern Life

This self-assessment is based on a profound model of human consciousness originating in the Upanishads*, the ancient spiritual texts of India. There, the human being is described not as a machine of flesh and thought — but as a layered field of energy and awareness, known as the Pancha Kosha, or Five Bodies.

Over the years, I’ve modernized this model into plain English to make it accessible for daily life, coaching, and transformation. Again and again, I’ve seen its accuracy: when one of these bodies is out of alignment, suffering emerges — sometimes physically, sometimes emotionally, sometimes in the form of deep spiritual exhaustion.

We all tend to care for the Physical and Mental layers because they’re visible and validated. But the Energetic, Emotional, and Spiritual bodies are just as essential — and often neglected. This simple test helps you listen across all five levels and reveal where care, repair, or restoration may be needed.

📝 Take the Test: The 5 Bodies Self-Assessment

There are 5 sections, each representing one of the bodies:
Physical, Energetic, Emotional, Mental, and Spiritual.
Each section contains 5 areas of focus, and each area has 4 simple statements.

All you have to do is rate how true each statement feels to you on a scale of 1 (Not at all) to 10 (Completely true).

Total possible score per body: 200
Total possible score overall: 1000

Below, you’ll find the full list of questions in plain text, for reflection and self-honesty.
But if you’d like to actually take the test and receive personalized feedback, follow the link in the next paragraph.
