From the outside it looks like it is working. Inside, something is off.

You guide other people and rarely have anywhere to be held yourself. You create or you lead, and the current of inspiration is thinning. There is a restlessness you don’t say out loud, a sense of being half alive in a life you worked hard for.

You want to belong without pretense. To be valued without chasing approval. To feel safe without shrinking.

How the work goes

Most people arrive holding a story they stopped believing a while ago and haven’t yet put down. Most of them have already tried working harder at it. What we do instead is realign.

We work across five bodies: somatic, energetic, emotional, cognitive, spiritual. [ Link: 5 Bodies post]. What is held in the body moves in the body, so this is not talk alone.

We move through four phases: paradigm shift, catharsis, corrective experience, embodiment. [link: Four Phases post].

Not a new person. The one who was there before the compromises accumulated.

How I meet you

Most of this industry sells you success. My work is with what happens either way. Achievement leaves people hollow as reliably as failure leaves them wrecked, and both need a witness. When you are in distress, I place a blanket over your shoulders. When you are comfortable and going nowhere, I pull the carpet from under your feet.

I will not confuse the two. Knowing which one you need is most of my job.

What I bring

I find the gap. Between the story your mind tells me and the one your body is telling at the same time. That gap is where the work is. Most people cannot see their own story, and most listeners are too polite to point at it.

I will challenge you. Assumptions you have never examined, said out loud in a room where someone is paying attention to them. This is not meant to be comfortable.

Nothing shocks me. Three decades of humanitarian fieldwork across seventy countries. Whatever you have not said to anyone, you can say here.

I have been outside my own culture long enough to see it. An entire life overseas and I can separate what is true and what is just local news.

Thirty years on this path. No one gets it right. Not even myself. What you can learn is to keep adjusting.
